Some Causes of Global Warming
A. Individual
1.Apathy. A lot of people seems not concerned about the problem of Global Warming. Many people don’t make any move to help save Mother Earth. Some people say they get nothing from being concern. What many don’t know is that global warming is a problem that concerns everybody. Will we act when it’s already too late?
2. Use of environmentally hazardous materials. Products like aerosol sprays, products that contain CFC, cigarettes and others contribute to the so-called Greenhouse effect, the leading cause of global Warming. Many people use products, that are not environment-friendly, like hair sprays, spray paints, cigarettes, etc..
B.Community
1. Improper waste management. The world is facing a big problem in waste segregation, which contributes to global warming. Waste disposal is an important thing that we should do properly. Wastes if not disposed properly will contribute to global warming. Most of us burn our garbage. That’s a big NO. The smoke that come from burnt garbage has components that contribute to the formation of greenhouse gases.
2. Misleading Priorities. Governments around the world focus on economic issues and don’t give much attention to the environment. We must make a move and solve problems like global warming. We can’t do this without government support. There are organizations that are concerned about the issue, but these are not enough. We should work together to save Mother Earth.
C. Technologies and Industries
1. Factories. Big factories and power plants give off lots of dark and harmful smoke that contributes to global warming. Many establishments and power plants help mankind, but what do they do to the environment? They produce smoke that pollutes our skies and prevents heat from Earth to escape to space, causing an imbalance in Earth’s temperature.
2. Vehicles. Cars and buses belch smoke like factories,. They emit harmful gases that contribute to the thickening of the pollutants in the atmosphere, causing greenhouse gases.
3. Modern Technologies. Development in technology contributes to harming the environment. Modernization makes things easier but it also has its disadvantages.
